The Department of Computer Engineering at Samajbhushan Eknathro Dhakane College of Engineering (Polytechnic), Shevgaon, was established in the year 2009 with an initial intake of 60 students.
From the year 2024, the intake has been increased to 120 students to meet the growing demand for Computer Engineering professionals.
The department is proud to be NBA Accredited, first receiving accreditation for the academic year 2022-23 and successfully achieving reaccreditation for the cycle 2024-25. This recognition reflects the department's commitment to maintaining high standards in teaching, infrastructure, and student outcomes as per national quality benchmarks.
